Cautionary Equipment
The following list of equipment is acceptable for the program. However,
underwriters should attempt to reduce risk by applying higher credit
standards and/or requiring enhancements (i.e. security deposits, down
payments, vendor-shared risk, etc.) to the transaction
- Any automotive after market equipment
- Pipe Benders
- Equipment that does not make sense for the type of business
- Any transaction where there is a large amount of soft-cost
- Small-item Restaurant and/or Convenience Store equipment (i.e.
Utensils, cookware)
- Any new piece of equipment with no track record
- Highly specialized or customized equipment
- Mobile Homes, Earthquake Resistant Modular Buildings (CA)
- Titled vehicles or rolling stock, including trailers
- Fixtures (FF&E) including leasehold improvements
- Rental or demo equipment
- Alarms/surveillance equipment
- Credit Card Machines
- Neon Signs
- Any used equipment
- Hair Salon Equipment (Small portable items, larger items acceptable)
- Agricultural Portable Buildings
- Boats
- Vending Machines
- Video and arcade games
- Carpet Cleaning Equipment
- Equipment affixed to vehicles
